On the 29th of January we had the heaviest show we have had in this area for several years, it is not unsual for us to go through the winter without a snow that will actually cover the ground, we had 5 to 7 inches of accumulation with this storm.

Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge

On the 8th of January I made a trip to Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in eastern Oklahoma.  This was during an extreme cold spell we had been having and much of the water was frozen, a rare occurrence for this part of the country. These are photos from this trip.
