Traditional Portrait

A studio or outdoor location of your choice (extended travel will incur additional charges)  will normally take 1-2 hours. This is includes time for  to get acquainted, clothing changes and backdrop changes.

Senior Portrait

A session that is designed to get that cool photo, not just a studio shot.  A session may last 2- hours and can be shot at a location of your choice (extended travel will incur additional charges) and can include a classic studio shot for the parents if desired.  Remember that this is your shoot and I can more easily accomplish your goals if you know what they are before.  Give a lot of thought to the location, clothing, props and backgrounds that will make this your unique portrait.

Newborn

A studio session that will normally last 1 1/2 to 3 hours, for the parents and the newborn.  This session should be scheduled for 7 to 10 day old time period.  Extra time is needed with a newborn, most of the best shots will be when the child is sleeping, which it is up to the child when they will sleep.  The look of a newborn baby does not last, by the time they are two weeks old the curled fetal look characteristic of a newborn is almost gone. Be sure to bring extra diapers, clothes, feeding supplies and any other items needed to care for the infant during this time.

Maternity

What better way to remember the magic of pregnancy than by having a pregnancy portrait made.  Being with-child is a precious time, is not something that you can go back and do another time, and something you may wish you had later on.  Choose what style you’re comfortable with, your happiness and satisfaction are what are most important in the session.  You may want to have your partner or other children in the photos as well.  Generally the 7-8 month are the best times to really show off that belly.  Sessions can be done in studio, your home, or other location of your choice and will normally last 1 – 2 hours.

Family or Group Portrait

This will be a on location shoot, either at your home or a location of your choosing.  At a “Group Session” we will take the full group first and then do other arrangements and family groups as desired.  It is important that you have someone who is not in the portrait, but should know at least most of the people, to help organize the groups and be sure everyone is it the right picture (I will not know “Uncle Ted” from “Cousin Joe”).  Session normally runs about 1 hour.
