Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island Georgia, is a tree graveyard creating amazing ocean views at sunrise.

This class is designed for those new to digital photography who really wants to learn to use their digital camera to its fullest potential. The class will cover very basic information up to some advanced techniques. We will cover how to get out of automatic, and into creative photography. You will learn many creative photography techniques, correct exposure and good composition.  We will cover how to transfer you images to the computer and basic digital workflow.

Following the classroom session, we will do an outdoor shoot to put into practice what we have learned.

·        Introduction to digital photography

·        JPG vs. RAW

·        White balance

·        Understanding exposure with liquid light

·        Auto shooting modes explained

·        Composition

·        Special techniques

·        Digital workflow

 

What to Bring:

Bring your camera and manual to the class.

Lunch is not included, you may bring a box lunch or go out for food, we will take about a 45-minute break around noon.  The workshop will conclude after the photo shoot at around 5 to 6 p.m.
